god i love this forum, anyhow got me a vag tacho unit off ebay but cant fathom out what clocks ive got in cars
sharan 1999 tdi
audi a6 quatro tdi
anyone help out as dont want to kill clocks. ive got tachopro and vag-tacho so bit help if possible please

Sharan must be VDO cluster, A6 Magneti Marelli or VDO, just try with vagtacho.

Maybe your 1999 Sharan has an old cluster Made in Portugal (1997-1998), you need to program the Motorola 68HC11E9 then. Or Vagtacho can't program this cluster. Sometimes you must try 8 times before you have acces with vagtacho, i don't use vagtacho, too tricky.

I use Diga and UPA-USB for this work.
