i turned away job today because i didnt want to read pin on 2008 peugeot partner,

i hear it kills the BSI/PSA and takes a long time to read pin, 45 mins?


is this right?

i was going to use lonsdor , but also have MVP PRO.

100% safe with Lonsdor or MVP. Was this all keys lost?

hi no he has 1 working key,

i just saw so many people saying after pin read, BSI corrupted...also there is 4 types listed in lonsdor to read pin, didnt know which to use, so if was going to take long time, could of been ages to find right one

Well yeah sometimes if we read too much then it's bad for us hehe. Actually some time ago, not so long, there was only option to read pin from BSI by OBD and yeah this was risky but if you used crap tools like FVDI. Now it's 100% safe with tools mentioned above. With Lonsdor if you have working key and CAN system, always use Type 1, work like a treat.

I killed a bsi o. Partner 2008 with fvdi... The other tools can't tell you. I use vvdi2 now...

you are not first and propably not last who killed bsi by fvdi :)

I know....
The bsi had problems before so i tried. The car was not starting from before..
After I tried to read pin with fvdi car was dead.. No ignition no nothing..
