wrote 5000km 24c16.

instrument panel shows 5000km when abs is not plugged in.

test with abs plugged in Mileage jumps to amount stored in abs. instrument panel has can com fault and brake fluid level fault.

tested on second vehicle with another abs pump to correlate, fault still present.

any help appreciated

I do understand that but then surely the mileage the mileage on instrument panel would not revert to 5000k. the moment I disconnect and reconnect battery.

As well as I now have a can com fault and brake fluid level info fault. Neither of which is there with original dump.

For this car there is step by step in Xtool.org ,

1 remove panel
2 read eeprom 24c16
3 change km with xtool.org have cal
4 dont plug the panel in to the car
5 make abs to 0 km by OBD with xtool .org
6 fix the panel to the car


Work done..................only 10 min job
