Anyone know what the standard refresh rate for a LCD HD TV is.

IS there a model out there with a good quality high rate.

I love my LG when in high def, but any moving shots seem to be quite blurred..

Unless it's my aging peepers..

In answer to your question it bear no resemblence what the refresh rate is, it could still be called HD. HD ready means it can receive a high definition signal pretty much.

have a look for lcd tv's with 100hz (sometimes called flicker free). It tends to be on the more expensive tvs. IF you are looking to hook your Pc up to it or gaming as well as watching tv then LCD in my opinion is the way to go as the resolution tends to be better. If you are just going to use it for TV and blu ray then anything above 37 go for a plasma. thats just my opinion. the blacks will be blacker, better clarity and smoother.

If you looking at the cheaper end of the LCD range less than grand, check out the response time in milliseconds. the lower the number the better. try to go for less then 8 milliseconds.
