I know some will say it's a silly question but I've not done a CAS4 or CAS4+ module yet.

Is there any visual indication that the CAS is a 4 or 4+ variant?

And CAS4 has unencrypted ISN in dump, whereas CAS4+ has encrypted ISN and needs working key or ISN from ECU.

Many thanks in advance.

And the answer is >
If the processor on the board is a 1L15Y it will ALWAYS be a Cas4....
Cas4 can also have a XEP100 chip
Cas4+ you will have a 5M48H Processor or 1N35H
