Howdy all. Facing an issue with EGR on Skoda Rapid. Error code P0405, Exhaust Gas Recirculate Sensor Circuit Low. Have removed and cleaned the EGR - no go. Replaced the motor with working one, the error code goes away, but after driving a while, comes back up. Tried replacing with a used EGR assembly, same error. Any suggestion.

If the solution is to disable EGR in ECU, what software can be used to take dump via OBD rather then opening the ECU. All answers appreciated. Thank you.

Hey. I did inquire as to what tool would be required to get the ECU dump. I do have K-Tag, but don't want to open the ECU if it can be avoided. So if there is some other tool that does not require the ECU to be opened, I am willing to explore that option. Thank you for your response. Appreciate it.

if we are talking about EDC17C46 you can write it via obd, but you have to give me ID of the ecu with HW and SW.
