Hi. Guys anyone familiar with error b0996


After flat battery car not start. No starter. All info i found thant problem in ecu or ecu data mismatch.

Anyone know the solution?


Car is 3.2 petrol

It's doing a VIN verification check. Disconnect then reconnect the battery, turn the ignition on, without trying to start the car, wait about 10 minutes until the theft light goes out. If the only prior problem was a dead battery, it will start after that. :)
