If you look at feedback samsmith19 has bought (not) all the recent items and given all feedback, if it looks too good to be true it is.

Always check feedback and be careful of people buying feedback you want them to have been a member with regular feedback over a couple of years if possible

DO NOT assume anything of the sort.
Ebay are totally shit at sorting such problems out.
I have a dodgy member that signed up using fake address, fake name and fake phone details, just so that he could wreck an auction of mine and he is still there 7 DAYS LATER.

He's finally not a registered user just checked was dodgy. A:burnout:lways do a check through peoples fedback, items brought and sold for your own peace of mind as there are still (dodgy) people trying to scam people. Known of people who have been.

Ebay are totally shit at sorting such problems out.
I have a dodgy member that signed up using fake address, fake name and fake phone details, just so that he could wreck an auction of mine and he is still there 7 DAYS LATER.
5 of us all bought from the same guy -- who accepted the dosh via PayPal -- but never sent any goods.......
eBay kicked him off -- two days later he was back on with a new handle AND THE SAME ADDRESS...........
I only know this because Newcastle C.I.D. told me after they raided his Student Flat and found ?3500 in notes !!!
eBay are useless -- their computer obviously doesn't check addresses for previous misdemeanour's
It's easy to build up a FEEDBACK SCORE by buying say, Mobile Phones bits at 99p.......
Try and check for FEEDBACK for >LARGE EXPENSIVE< items.........

:( Another good -un , (or bad-un if you're a buyer) , is the "damaged in transit " scam , where an alledged "honest trader" , dispatches you a useless (pre- smashed) , item.
You recieve it , (packaging damage free) , sign for it , then open it , to find someone has put thier head through the plasma tv you've just bought .
You return it within 7 days for a full refund , (as they never have a replacement item).
You've had a load of hastle , and the insurance have paid them out ?400 , for something that was worthless before it was shipped !.
As Del Boy would say " Luvly Jubbly" :top:

you can buy positive feedback now on ebay, and they(ebay) don't/wont do anything about it, it makes a complete sham of the feedback system, see here, ebay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Digital-Picture-of-Cat-100-Positive-Feedback_W0QQitemZ290378376811QQcmdZViewItemQQptZL H_DefaultDomain_3?hash=item439be6666b)
last Christmas I bought(off ebay) a new DS for my son, it never arrived, soon after there was over 250 negative feedback, all, for not receiving there item, luckily I got my money back through paypal, but this guy must have scammed over ?25.000 in a week, that taught me not to by from china any more
