The data base on most new receivers & all patches are well out of date anyone new to satellite will have a load of junk in their data base that is why i try to promote keeping your receiver up to date as two thirds of most data base material is obsolete
I have made a mental note of most of the common data base errors here are a few:-
Some still refer to 8 west as Telecom 2D & not mention Atlanticbird-2,
Loads of doubles & wrong data on 13 east 11240V & 11242V ect unless you check you probably will not notice 11642H & 11645H & about 15 transponders that do not even exist
26 east sometimes has Astra 1 transponders in with Arabsat giving a total of 118 transponders & you can only receive 22 of the 36 active on Badr-4 & Badr-6 {only Badr-4 can be received in the UK}

Use this chart to find a satellite & then correct your data base with a blind scan receiver to find out what is really there use the blind scan wisely you can find most transponders on the Astra satellites by using Network search.

Readings are taken over a 3 hour period so some variation may occure
due to various parameters such as weather & satellite movement ect.

This is only a guide for setting up your fixed or motorised system,
the scale on set top boxes is not as accurate as a signal meter
but it will give you a good set up when used correctly.
The TM6900 readings are lower than some receivers but this because the receiver is more accurate than the TM5000usb series I used for the earlier charts the signal is just as strong on the TM6900

Guys here is one for you.When people buy a new receiver today,why is the transponder dater so cr*p.It does not bother me on transponder dater,but many dont have blind scan.I know some might come back & say you can download it or something like that,but that's not the point on what im saying.

Hello, I have no signal on some of the transponders on 28.2E although other transponders on this satellite are fine, what can be the problem? Is it misaligned dish or faulty LNB head, thanks.

Hi there Jackpot,
I have the impression of getting on everyone's nerves. I noticed you seem to be familiar with satellite stetups.
Please help. My problem:
I have a TM-5402 HD M3 CI super + and have a 150cm dish pointing 27.5 W. Strong signals show up at the top of my TV screen when I zapp through the satellite names at 56E Bonum 1, 4.8E Sirius 2/3, 9.0 Eurobird 9 and 31.5E Opzus A3.
Can you say how I can commence from here?. I thought it necessary use Intelsat 907 on the satellite list and enter 11495 and 44100, but when I move the dish no signals show up any more. And although I have put the TP in manually, it constantly seems to change back to what was listed there in the first place.
If these are the correct signals, will I be able to make a new start by company resetting and patching. Hundreds of programms downloaded including scrambled programs, as well as those at 27.5 W BBC and ITV etc. However, trying to clear them didn't work. What must be done in sequence? First the PID, then biss, or can I enter alle the PIDs first and then the BISS codes. The BISS codes are the current ones from here. I don't want to constantly put all the channels in manually and find out they don't work. Is it possilbe just trying out one program first.
