Hello. Tell me, please, what year is this bike and dashboard? I have a problem with a motorcycle 2015, there is an error P1614 fault. Is this a TRIUMPH TIGER 800xc?
I described my problem here:
https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/644151-2011-triumph-street-triple-r-help?p=3577304&viewfull=1#post3577304

Maybe my problem is not in the firmware but in the dashboard?
How can I make sure that the dashboard is suitable for this bike?

As far as I could figure out, my dashboard number is 2503170, it’s for the 2015 Triumph Tiger 800 XRx.
the motorcycle on which I install it is the 2015 Triumph Tiger 800 XC. As far as I could figure out, it requires the number T2503727.
Can someone help me verify this information?

I found the number T2503727 here:

T2503170 'should' work fine with your bike, but BikeBandit also list T2503173 as being suitable.

Some sites list T2503727 for the entire Tiger 800 range from 2011 to 2017 but I'm sure they used different connectors for the Mk2 after VIN 674841.

Be sure that any dump files you try are formatted correctly to suit your programmer. Check the first two bytes and they might be '00 A7' or 'A7 00'. This once caught me out and had to make sure all byte pairs were swapped.

1) Apparently, some factor was not taken into account, as it prevents something from normal operation. I have error P1614 ( ID instruments incompatible).
2) my motorcycle has 2 connectors. (I will take some photos tomorrow).
3) translation difficulties. I am pretty sure that I understand you wrongly. What exactly should I check in the first bytes in the files?
Is the task to check if my programmer is writing files to the chip correctly?

Can it indirectly serve as a check: write the "original" firmware read on first reading to the chip, and get the same results as before opening and reading?

The same, in other words:
-Read the first time, the chip that was in the instrument panel (chip 1).
-wrote read in another chip (chip 2).
-connected chip 2 to the instrument panel.
-turned on the bike, I see the same mistakes and exactly the same behavior of the instrument panel?

my file is in the archive( https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/644151-2011-triumph-street-triple-r-help?p=3580483&viewfull=1#post3580483)

The file that I read from my dashboard I see as:
FAA1 0014

The file for comparison is a file from jomberykaso (https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/709575-TRIUMPH-TIGER?p=3587971&viewfull=1#post3587971)
The file I found on the forum:
00A7 0014

password ( Test pass (tiger) ) is not suitable. maybe I'm doing something wrong, but where can I make a mistake?

I can not unpack.. password (tiger) is not suitable. maybe I'm doing something wrong, but where can I make a mistake?

As I understand it, this is the edited version of the Kocta firmware:
https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/709575-TRIUMPH-TIGER?p=3449067&viewfull=1#post3449067

I think I checked it. i will check it tomorrow again.

At the moment, the solution to my problem was not found. my friend picks up his bike and will sell it in that condition. temporarily or completely I stopped working on this problem.
I recorded the firmware in a new chip, which I read from the chip that was in the instrument panel. in both cases, the behavior of the instrument panel was the same. The output is that my programmer is working properly.
I recorded the firmware from Kocta. It got worse. with this firmware is not visible run, the instrument panel behaves differently.

Thank you all so much for helping me.

from another manual, the same error:

628237

I found this instruction here:
https://biker.ee/manuals/triumph/Triumph_Tiger_800_XC_2010-2013_%28ABS_Model_included%29.pdf
but it is for the years 2010-2013.
page 216:
DTC : P1614
Fault Description: ECM or tune ID Incorrect
Number of no-fault cycles before turning off MIL: Only if InstrumentID Matching
MIL illuminated when fault is logged : Flashing

Is this applicable to 2015?
What does the manufacturer understand by "Instrument ID Matching"?
Maybe I need to change the firmware of the instrument panel, as well as change the identifier?
