WV Passat B6 need pin code

Hi,
Passat B6 2006 won't start because of faulty electronic column lock module,bought new one from dealer,tryed extract login code via Vag k+can commander,launch x431 and carprog from instrument cluster,all gave me 65535 code.
When i go to 25 immobilizer,press login and it refuses key.Key refused in ecu also.
What exactly procedure to adapt new ECLM module.
I readed eeprom with vag k+c commander.581805581806

I would have modified existing steering column to bypass lock.

I would use FVDI or Similar or VCDS maybe fault is not in column .

On MB we read EPROM and modify so steering lock remains off not sure on VAG


Its possible the pin tool suggested is wrong and you’ve alienated key

Maybe i can read edc16 ecu via BDM and turn off immo at all? Will it work?

I know edc16 immo off works but I’m not sure if what you have already tried changes that but can only try

ok mate, first of all 65535 is = 0 so it is not pincode since b6 does not store pin in instrument cluster, you can read pin code from edc16 ecu since that year is PD engine , or remove CCM module and read eprom for pin code

"Vag Can Pro" reads IMMO PIN from edc 16 VW B6 2.0 PD 8V. The Immobilizer is together with a comfort module. Behind the storage box not in instrument cluster.

Vag Can Pro 5.5.1 can read pin immo in VW Passat B6 2.0 TDI. (OCF) I have 2.0 TDI BMP 2006my and read.In the description of vag commander 3.6 it is read in the VW Passat until 2006MY.

With the help of Vag Can Pro (OCF) you can read the immo pin from some ECM EDC 16, and using the Vag Dash Can 5.xx pin immo and eprom.
Of course there are other tools for this.

Hi all members is quite long time I’ve never be on the site. I’ve got wee problem and wander if any off you can give me an info. I’ve work in old vw passat b6 1.9 tdi and is problem with elv sometimes not Start I’ve change they 2 switch and naw the car not start is start and cut off sou the immo is a problem i think . I try delete immo I’ve desolder the 95320epprom and copy with carprog ive use ecu vonix to delete immo and the car not even start for 1 sec the way wo’s . Any 1 can help . Thanks

Since you bought a new Steering Lock the best option would be to adapt it with ODIS.
Second options you need to read CCCM module eeprom from pin code or engine ecu eeprom and then learn with VCDS.

Is a trick with old and new steering lock assignement. Just read the forums and Ross-tech forum. Will get the answer and the car fixed. Just knock your old steering lock to be alive when you do this. Good luck!
