Hi, can anyone remove the speed limit of this file. This vehicle is fitted with a tacho.
Many thanks in advance :)

You can write this file - w/o limiter.

Hi, many thanks.
This is actually fitted in an Optare Alero minibus. Based on Iveco drivetrain. There are many owners in my group who have converted the bus to motorhome & need this limiter off.
Lots of different code in this file I assume it is a virgin file? I read on DK that unlimited file in ecu does not work when vehicle fitted with a Tacho.
Also, will this file allow Cruise Control?
I have been looking for Iveco software to do this but can't find a working download link.
I will try & let you know.
Cheers
Brian

I tested this solution few times and it always was working but I don't know if CC will work (my cars didn't have it).

Yes working here too. Just come back from test drive. Can I flash this to other vehicles, looks like a virgin file. I'll fit a CC stalk & report back.
Thanks again for this.

Yes, if you have 814.043S engine.
looks like a virgin file.
Immo data are stored in 24C16.

Thanks again, could not see this ecu in nyo. Is this also map data, Bus seems more powerful, but could be my imagination. Could do with re-mapping.
Have found this https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/249340-Iveco-Daily-2-8-tunning?highlight=iveco+daily+tuned+map
Looks to work with Cruise Control

Hi Brian - I also have an Optare Alero and I am trying to remove the limiter, but I can only find an Iveco connector (round one with loads of pins)
How did you connect your OBD-II? Once I get connected, I assume I just download the old one (in case the new one doesnt work) and upload the new one?
Thanks!

Hi sorry I only just come back to this thread, how did you get on? Most adapters are wired incorrectly. I piggy-backed a obd socket onto the k-line & power.
I see you are in Poole, so am I :)
