CarProg A4 Eeprom Pinout

Hello members!

I recently bought a chinese Carprog unit and I wanted to read an Eeprom via A4 Eeprom adapter and I realised that all the cable colours are messed up. I managed to verify each pin and below is the correct pinout according to the colours:

PIN 1 (In manual: Grey): Blue
PIN 2 (In manual: Red): Brown
PIN 3 (In manual: Orange): Red
PIN 4 (In manual: Green): Yellow
PIN 5 (In manual: Blue): Light Blue
PIN 6 (In manual: Yellow): Orange
PIN 7 (In manual: Brown): Black
PIN 8 (In manual: White): Purple

Did it worked on 24xx memory after this?
Mine does not. I try to read a 24C16 and... nothing.

some carprog clones don't read 24cxx memories

China clone or bad reworked China clone not read/write well 24Cxx or 25/95xxx


But EU clone working well with all MCU and all eeproms
For example Gulietta 24c16
