General Chiptuning questions

Hi,
I wanted to ask some simple questions. Im kinda new to this but I did alot of researches.
Im driving a 2012 BMW F30 316D and I wanted to turn off EGR/DPF.
I dont care about power, I just want less fuel consumption if possible and a healthy engine.
So I only need something like MPPS (dont know what version), a laptop and the remapped file right?

M8, this is not the best ecu to start to play with... search real tuner in your area with genuine tools and avoid to open the ecu....
