Happy New Year to all participants and guests !!!
Help to deal with such a problem, the radio VW RNS510 1T0 035 680C HW41 SW2720 VWZ6Z7 .....
It turns on and hangs on the VW screensaver, do I need to reflash it? What firmware is needed? SW2720? Can I flash on the table, without a car? Can anyone share it with the firmware, thanks.

It turns on and hangs on the VW screensaver and no longer responds to any buttons, you need to reflash, you need firmware 2720, or 3720, or 5218

Can you upload said firmware

I've never managed to get any unit to install a 5218 software (this being a factory version rather than a dealer update) and I must've tried 30 or so different units. In my experience, any software reload will cure the issue.

I dont think reflashing will help in this case...

Yust download it, burn on CD, and put in the radio. After that you press Setup + Eject + Info to enter in software update. And then wait for 60 minutes to be done.
