pandora's battery

l have a psp and a m8 at work has just got one and wants me to do it for him , if l do the pandora's battery thing does he need to get a large memory card first or can l flash it using my card ?

I assume your psp has custom firmware Smirf.

Just use disinter in downloads at link below and that will make a pandora and jigstick memory for you. You can just use your memory card as you format it afterwards anyway. You do'nt really need a tutorial for Disinter because once you install it and connect your psp to pc then you just follow the instructions which pop up. Dead easy..the stoogies taught me how to do it.

Found a tut anyway and not at other place.

Download disinter and the Sony 1.50 3.40 and 3.80 updates

Start disinter and load each eboot into the correct box and connect the USB and select the PSP's drive letter.

when you have hit yes to the drive letter start "stage 1" copy the files.
now it will copy some files over. when it has you will see this

press ok and close the USB connection.
goto the game menu on the PSP and select memory stick
run "pandora installer for 3.xx"

when you see the menu press R trigger + X
now you see the warning screen telling you all data will be lost etc
press L+R+X (L and R are the buttons at the top corners of the PSP)

this will partition the memory stick and it will tell you to press X to turn off the PSP.
switch it back on and connect the USB again. disinter will ask you to say yes to the drive letter again.
after pressing yes start "stage 2" copy the files
wait for the files to copy and when complete you will see this

disconnect the USB and goto the game menu and select memory stick again.
this time run "Despertar del cementrio" and press X to begin the process.
wait for it to finish, it will take a few minutes, when done it will auto exit back to the game menu.
select the memory stick again and run the "pandora installer for 3.xx"
when the menu apears press L+X to copy the "msipl.bin" then it will auto exit again.
run the "pandora installer for 3.xx" again and press O to convert the battery to pandora then press triangle to exit.

thats it, to test it take out the battery (and ac adaptor if in) then put the battery back in, all 3 light should flash and after a moment you will be presnted with the pandora menu.

press X to install 3.80 M33

To put the battery back to normal

1: take out the battery
2: plug the ac adaptor in and turn it on
3: put the battery back in and run the "pandora installer for 3.xx" and press SQUARE [] to make the battery normal.

disinter only takes up 60.4mb so anything from a 64mb pro duo to 4gb will do the job.
