New to using a master tool a few questions.....

Im new to using a master tool,
is it possible to ruse tuning files I have purchased if sw and hw numbers match up? or do I need to adjust my original read and change each map individually?
I think I can reuse edc15 and 16 with no issues what about edc17 med17 etc?

How does it work if I purchased from a reseller on winols and they didn't encrypt it?

with edc15 and 16, me7.5 and med9 it shouldnt be a problem coming to edc17 and med17 it is different.it comes down to how you read the file via tricore or bdm. most reads with tricore and bdm has eeprom data in the file so i do not recommend it for those cars
