Hi,
I've this Volvo S80 yr 2008 with keyless (handsfree) system.
Due to something (I don't know why...), KVM module located in trunk fried... and worst of all MCU dead. I've tried to read it with several tools and nothing. I have a short in feed pins.
So, I bought an used one that cames from a V70 (also bought CEM and a key). Assembled the KVM on vehicle but I can't make remotes to work. They work ok with the "new" (used) kit I bought, but everytime I program keys on the S80 using it's original CEM and the "new" KVM, the car stars fine, but can't make remotes work.
I think I've estinguished my imagination on every kind of experiences I've done so far... I even took the car to stealer today... and after a couple of hours they phoned me and said they can't program it.
Is is possible that someone knows a way to virginise the KVM or anyother way that can help?
Every thoughts would be helpfull.
Thanks in advance.
BR and a great year to all on DK!
