Hello, my friend have a bmw 320 e46 2.0 tdi, and yesterday crashed his car, the two passenger airbag open, and in instrument cluster there is airbag error. Its my first airbag reset but i think that it is the procedure:

1.Search for new or second hand airbags and replace it
2. search for the airbag ecu (where it can be? autodata will tell me where?
3. read eeprom (which one)
4. with airbag reseter or some other program repair it
5. write the new file to the airbag ecu
6. delete airbag from ecu with the carsoft 6.5 (he has one)

Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

Hi

On BMW you dont have to change Air Bag Modules just replace all Damaged Airbags and seat faulty belts and clear the fault codes.

Hope this helps

Hi

It not like that, on all ecus.
It accept only 3 crash, after that you need to do on other way.
