Hi,
Just spent 3 hours tearing my hair out trying to figure out why my new R4 Upgrade card wouldn't work. Symptoms were:
Error flashed up when starting the 'Game' app (or so I thought), something about DLDI/unable to read a file.
Games wouldn't boot (top screen displayed debug info).
In the end, it turned out to be half operator-error, half a bug in the GUI...
With my earlier version of the R4, I'm used to just tapping the 'pacman' icon with my thumb to get into the games on the SD card.
However...tapping anywhere on the game/multimedia/config screen with the new firmware always seems to select the multimedia option....which looks kinda like the old firmware game screen when it loads, but isn't capable (it would seem) of launching games.
The 'cure' is simply to select 'Game' with the d-pad and the 'A' button! :banghead:
So, 3 very frustrating hours...but I'm glad that's all it was.
