View Full Version : Mercedes GLA dash dead after calibration

Hi,

I have a problem with this dash after calibration.

I remove coil put smok can filter, change data of 95640, I put dash back in car now dash is dead (no light).

I remove can filter put back coil, but no change dash doesn't light up ...

I check solder of eprom. no change ...

I check dump no problem.

If someone have an idea ?

coil intact ? maybe you readed original eeprom wrong ? eeprom soldered right way? eeprom you can read write with clip on this car

Check Dash fuse

coil intact ? maybe you readed original eeprom wrong ? eeprom soldered right way? eeprom you can read write with clip on this carI checked: coil is broken I think I've overheating while desoldering . I must find another one to test without can filter.

Dump is OK, I always read eprom 2 times and compare both dump before programming new value.

Eprom soldered right way.

I found a capacitor partially desoldered, when I wanted to remove screen without dismantle needles I think I ripped the capacitor.

I resolder capacitor but no changes...

maybe bad filter? What kind of filter you used?

Check Fuse for Cluster!
Was the same problem by me on W221, put the Can Blocker wrong into Dash and the fuse burned in Fuse system from Car

How old is the GLA Mercedes ?

It's smok RH can filter, I used them sometimes never had any problem.

LED on can filter light up.

I will check dash fuse.

it's 2014 GLA.

solved, I change capacitor and repair a litle track near capacitor, I've not seen the first time ...
