Hi I have a problem with my VW Touran 2007 se 1.9tdi the passenger side windows and central locking will not work and I cannot open the doors from inside or out I suspect the comfort control module and was wondering the best way to copy the code from my old one to replace with same part number 1k0959433BT and copy data to it as VW want £200+ to do the task.
Any advice welcome thanks.

Mpps no way. Try to open door somehow and check wiring between door and car.
What fault codes do you have on comfort module?

I think you have to buy a new one or look after a used one an remove the component protection. But i normaly you have to learn the new one to the car.

I am using a VAG K+CAN V3.6 to get these codes I am almost certain one of the electrical units or relays is causing my problems through ingress of water, here's what what I am getting.

symptoms doors will not open on passenger side rear as well now checked harnesses and fuses when doors would open already all seem ok.
engine has lack of power as if in limp mode but did recover for 15mins then no power again dash says doors are open permanently engine light comes on intermittently but mainly off.

Do you have another tool to scan the error codes? VCDS would be recommended.
To change the CCM in this car you don't need dealer (module has no component protection as i can remember , somebody correct me if i am wrong),
just get coding with VCDS from old module, write coding to your replacement module and adapt remotes and it must work.
All you need you can find here http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/VW_Golf_(1K)_Comfort_System.
But i think you have more problems than the CCM module.
A complete scan with a right tool will give us more information about your problems.

Have been looking at ross-tech for VCD'S but above my budget at present have been offered ross-tech cable HEX V2 and software18.9 Chinese hack for just over £50 but cannot update software but never trusted Chinese software is it worth the risk.
The car seems to be having a lot of electrical problems at present so definitely need a better tool as just working in the dark as don't have a full read.
