it read good value but not change

Hello mate, depends on the version of software on your dash module. if your car has been in to audi or atleast updated by an audi tech then they will have applied a patch to prevent your V3 from making the change.


My missus works for Audi (service and warranty) and just a few weeks back was talking about this (a car in where someone tried to change the milage), as soon as its plugged in (to the audi computer) it sings like a bird and the mismatch in mileage is reported. I will ask and see if there is a way around this for you (audi can do it 3 times only i think their master tech said)

There are a few options for you, program the 93c86 eprom on dashboard directly. (clip eprom - read- save- adjust- write). Or buy a professional tool like enigma and program by OBD CAN.

but my car have fault engine obd light switch on a car
i have try firstly to errase with vag com but it say me no fault code!!!!!:afraid:

Yes, your friend was lucky to have old software in cluster, which version of VAGCOM did you use?
You can also try to clear errors with your k+vag commander cable.

Looks like your ECU is locked, try to disconnect battery for a couple of minutes and try again.

Clocking with clones is not always the best way to do...

Try to virginize your dash:stupido3:

and of course your EDC16...so i think your dash would not sing like a bird after you go to dealer...

nobody has solution for audi a3 2005 crypto dash ,i have searched every where for tool to retrieve skc from this eprom . nobody has it .

mileage correction can be done with r200s . but not login

neither can a3 2006 onwards only mileage .

i have been looking constantly for 2 weeks since my car has been dead .

ok if you locking from pin code for adapting the key, you can read from engine ecu, engine ecu you can read with vagdash can.

i would test software but not buying another cable for it not to work AGAIN!!!

will not work with can commander. had the same problem almost 2 years ago. it was solved by using original k+can. I think they fixed it in version 5.0

so don't waste time with can commander :)

software however does work with cable no problem .left you a nice piccy of it failing to do job

odometer change doesnt work either same as last version .

think there just selling it as an upgrade but it isnt at all
