I use AVDI its amazing but for ML2010 w164 abrites mentions that it extract password from EIS but its not quick you must wait and then you will get the password so do not worry, I did the same job with the same tool worked well but a bit much time, also note that there is no other tool that can extract faster than abrites. stay cool :dancing:
also if you did it with relay remove it and stay near the EIS because you need to remove the key and insert many times as the software will guide you

hit the thanks will help me too

The most boring think is that you must stick to the vehicle by puting in and out IR adapter for long time.
I hope that will solve new version 10.8 also for facelift W164.

I have the same situation with facelift W164 and AVDI. Are u did with manually reinsert IR adapter one by one and done in 20 min?
I ended up after 1 hour and progress 240 of 8192..............

Other tools do 164 better on the bench. Try CGDI if you have one. I did a 164 facelift with it, took about an hour.
