View Full Version : Mercedes Benz, Bosch 0 285 001 880, Crash and wrong VIN

got Mercedes Benz here with Bosch 0 285 001 880,
original module has Crash in it but replacement one has wrong VIN,
I think its easier to clear crash form original one.
but I cant figure out how to read this MCU from this module.
can anyone give some hints please for reading this CR16 MCU please

Is it possible to read it with UPA-usb or CarProg ?

I’ll try, but mechanic tried clearring with his scanner and couldn’t clear crash, that’s why he told the car owner to change the airbag control module.

i think in this case it needs to be cleared by removing it from the vehicle

Tried with Autel scanner, can’t clear codes, clears for a second and codes come back up :(

Only option is to try by connecting to module directly
