KESSV2 Red 5.017 „Protocol not found“

Hello,

on first use of my KessV2 Red EU Clond (FW 5.017)
I got the error „Wake up error“ than i found a „solution“ on the internet witch told me i should Format my SD (TF) Card from my KessV2 and Kopie some new files to it. Now I got the error „Protocol not found“.

I need some help of you how to solve this problem!

Just please do.not format card... this procedure is fot Kess 4.xx.

You card have encrypted data. And is unique to.you microcontroller.Nxp paired with serial nr memory card.

Example if you made backup 1:1 to another card sd, kess will have all grey protocols.

Solution
1) open box and Try take off card from slot and using isopropanol clean pins sdcard socket and p8ns memory card.
2) try gently little.vit bend sd socket pins
3) rework you kess!!!!
4) change card to better quality with rebuild Image ...... new card... new uuid new image inside.... if you dont know how... coast 20-30 euro

Yes you can but is not easy.

How i said... all each card have diffrent uuid number sd card and this number is implemented inside Content data and must matched with NXP serial number as well
Not sure which partition system is used but when you use windows then want format card which please dont format.

Kess v2 4.xx used Fat32 format card and there is easy way to recovery content on the sd card.
Kess v2 5.017.... 5.028 using diffrent partition system and data is not easy to see but
Is 2 ways to fix this
1) You can try buy new sd card but not first from market (is very hard to find) card which changeable uuid number, but if i know last card this was release close 2016y. Then you can change uuid serial in new card to the same what was in old. Then you can do copy card 1:1

2) use new card and give someone to compilate new image under you new card but is not free. I think is best way... you will pay 20-30 euro ( contaxt with KITNOOS 2002 on thia forum) and you safe a lot time.

Got it working, with USB Image Tool [emoji51]

I Reset the SD Card than Formated it woth fat32 (not quick)

Than I Restored a image file that Morgano send to me. Now its working.

I have to found a programm that work with Windows, so I can copie the CID Number of the Original Card and Change it on a new Card.

You know a good Programm?
