MB W204 C300 ESL emulator best choice at the moment/tool?

Afternoon master techs!,
I got a failed ESL module on W204 and want to put ESL emulator in it (turns out it's not ESL motor)
As far as equipment goes I'm a beginner, carprog,digimaster 3 ( checked the key, key is ok), 270+, ar32,upa.
Seem like I will need need a vvdi tool to put emulator in it. Any other choices I have? If not will regular vvdi prog
will do it or do I need vvdi mb?

If you don't have tools, best is to send it to someone who can do it for you. Fastest and cheapest.
