VAG instrument cluster replace without radio code lost?

Whenever I replace dash (golf5,audi 2001up), radio code is lost. How to avoid this?

Impossible. Because radio code is stored in dash

On a4 rb4 I found location by testing row by row,will must on g5 too

P.S. just thinking, sometimes when remove and insert again ORI dash,radio ask for code,why still happening when dash is ori.
I'm talking about g5,last case dash didn't see keys and also radio asked for code

No direct in eeprom of radio write vin and immo off dash . Try that .

I put ori dash and turn radio on then put used while radio working and do adaptation of car learning via 50 chanel add keys and dont turn radio off . And on audi maybe i ws lucky radio didnt ask for code after turning ignition off and on.

Will try radio ON while change dash,other way if need to read radio eeprom no need vin,simply will see radio code ;)
