I got cbr 1000rr here
it has 93c66 eeprom
file has 64056 km
i Need 14512 km


or a Programm i can do it

Here's how i do it with most basic equipment and free software.





CHIP = 93C66


USE HEAT GUN TO DESOLDER — SOLDER IRON TO PUT CHIP BACK ON THE BOARD


i use PICkit2 Programmer and software
Device Family is EEPROM > 93LCxB,C > (select part) 93LC66B (C x 16)


- READ the chip & verify
- SAVE Hex and open the file in your Hex editing program
- mileage is stored in lines 000001A0 - 01D0 (creating 4 lines of 32 HEX digits) . (in the case of 14512km you'll see 01C1FE3E01C1FE3E 01C1FE3E01C1FE3E


- Obtain new odometer code from Tachosoft in KM. ie. 14512km is 01C1FE3E (repeated for the 4 lines of 32 digits).

Save the amended .BIN / HEX file to the 93CL66 chip... verify and pop it back on the board.

Job Done.
