Hello DK,

I got a burned key module - W204 p/n 290 778 A8 - which was apparently "repaired" by someone else before me... No signs of 'in-correction' is visible on this module.

I attach pics which may help. My question is if anyone has seen anything like this before. Also, can I read this module in order to transfer the data to a new EZS?

Thanks in advance for advice!

I will try with new coil.... and hoping it will not melt too....... Why would the original be heating up to the point it melted the plastic head....? This is supposed to be an antenna..... Not some heating coil....

Thanks everyone for the help - in fact, it was the L-relay causing the non-start..... Some noob played with the ignition and screwed up the coil... Once that was repaired, and the relay replaced, the car was a GO!

IN case anyone has the same issue...
