I have vag k+can commander v3 from china and so far its been useful in erasing crash data fom 2002ish seat, and getting pin code for 2000 passat from instrument cluster that my super mvp couldnt read. Hope its the sort of answer you required

Abritus72 ..is where the original Commander came from mate ... Then it was copied..... Their stuff is by all accouts good gear... but on the more expensive side of the market....

be carefull, the interface have inside a battery, when battery flat out advi interface dies..not nice

another hidden trick, you can?t use the advi interface in the same clauster 10 times, if you do it will block (pirate)

price is high, at last for old edc15 and edc16 functions which had been cloned by chineese,

mine just arrived, but i had a bad first impression: it doesnt work!
the soft provided by them, doesnt recognize the interface. tryed for 5 hours to make it work, i sent a mail to miro to see what it says...for the moment is just a little black box with a green light on it.

not a verry nice experience for a tool at this price.

you need the dump of the ezs which i use rosfar or mprog ver5. then you can do the esl via direct link.
as for the programming the nec chip in the mercedes key, you need to attach a few wires to the chip and can can read, write or erase.

and finally the ecu get the eprom data via flash function in abritus if you have it or get the data my eprom direct connect. virgin the ecu then adapt via star.

in the abritus software you load the ezs data choose which key you want then it will make the key dump and modified ezs dump that you need to put back in the ezs and nec chip off the key.

you are right basic diagnostics functions are not that good?

as for the special functions they are very expensive, have been told that you can program the bmw transponder to start the car but can not program the remote?

For uk customers I would recommend Kap diagnostics got my interface a few weeks back. Since then have phoned and emailed them for more info and they have been good with replying Bk.

mate u are not the ONLY customer, those guys works very hard for make this softwares and support their customers,if you think is not worth the patience and the money for, u can use another tool

AS FAR SA I KNOW every hadware has a unique id that is the same with software.

probably if it has a ftdi chip it will read the unique code of this chip

the matter is to crack the special functions that are very expensive for all of us.

i agree all of us to give some money to buy this tool but it not worthing without special functions.

you can buy tools to make those functions with less money and better job for customers.

for example you can program a flash of iaw 49f with 40 $ , why to pay to abitrus xxxxxx money for this job?

you can buy lauch with excellent support with 1500e and 46 mark of cars why to pay abitrus for 10 models and 1000 e

all are victims for the job buying buying ,...... tools

for those professional that already has the tools for the job abitrus is a nothing .. it support too little special functions for buying it.

you also need laptop that is the worst thing in our job ,

remember just buy and make research , may some chinese tools will make this special job you need .

I bought AVDI officially, but until now I have it not work. Miro said that the problem with COM port, AVDI not see COM port. But I tried on various computers - everywhere pops one and the same error (connection error). Anyone has had similar problems? Tried all that is possible, nothing helped. Other equipment is working properly. Two weeks already AVDI lying idle, the work is worth. I ordered it for the new year with a discount, but the impression it is already messed up and want to sell it at half price. Tell me how to properly configure the com port?

I got, poor english, he will that You send him Your orginal AVDI with software and 1500Euro and he send You it back with full activation. When I ask about someone who made it from digital-kaos to proof, he said he cant tell. I think is littel stupid to send 3500Euro or more to someone with nice france nick.

Yes, I have genuine, original AVDI and I describes my ( and my friends ) experiences with this device and experiences with A.
( You look for my uploaded files and think, that I not have new version :) :) ? ).

In my opinion if someone have AVDI already - must torture.
But if thinking about purchase it - let's will think seriously :

- All in one is always not good ( when it will be spoiled we stand with all works )
- On market is a lot devices with better prices ( and moooooore better support ) with similar capabilities ( for example from SMOK )
- Diagnostic functions in AVDI....? In VAG VAS5054 or VCDS is 10000000% better. In other also - a lot better and cost less a lot
- PassThru ? What differ from clones of original equipment ? You use original software for it :) ? J2534 cost several euro
- Ruthless Chinese....They make a lot shit, but VAG Commander 8.6 have made better than original ( may deny ? )
- Update for 6 weeks :):) ? Free is only small potatoes.
Example : I bought CAS3 by OBD2. Next update : I have to pay 1800 euro for update this function.
- Uncertainty the company's existence : is not possible legally eternally sell "knives for murderers".

Yes, VAG Commander 8.6 work better than the orginal - I think, that you know.
It shows in price list ( orginal ) - full VAG costed recently 10.000 euro. Now it costs 5.000 euro.
When will cost 1000 euro - all will buy original only ( of course if support will be better ).

ORV not work like a lot others chinese clones, but Abritus is broken and I think, that in short time will be for $100 in full version.

True is in middle. AVDI have a lot feauters, but make things what are not acceptable for serious company.
1)How can scribe that new version is released and no one see it?
2)Scribe a lot new features but they are not fully tested and complete. Example "Golf V Visteon dashboard - possible to read PIN and make dealer keys by OBDII " It is example for next scam. On kapdiagnostic is person with not supported PIN reading. Minimum 1 from me known 3 version is not supported maybe more.
3)They will pull maximum money from You. Why You need in passat B6 with EDC17 buy extra this function for 1000Euro only for PIN read when You have it stored in comfortmodule too, and this comfortmodule You need read anyway for CS?
4)In my opinion kapdiagnostic forum have low level. More advanced qestion are answered:
"Buy this module, then I can tell You step by step what You need do..."
or just no answer
5)Serious company cant sell cloned 1:1 products from another company... They sell cloned XProgM as AN022
