Hello lads
can anyone fill me in with info here lads
am bit confused we all these new MQB keys
example golf 7
5G0 959 752 BA

are there any other keys compatible with these?

are any interchangeable with other models?

are there any lists out there?

what other keys have you seen for golf 7?
As far as i know there are only two types:
5G0 959 752 BA - "normal" key
5G0 959 752 BC - kessy key (push button start)

yes i know the part numbers
but can we use any other key from different cars
i see this remote for golf 7
5G6 959 752 AG

Key for polo like 5G6 959 752 Q will probably work only for immo part but for remote part i doubt

thats what i was asking mate if anyone had tried
in case ever get caught out
know of someone whos added standard id48 into mqb system that on here
just wondered if was same as old system
where many models we could share the remote part numbers with different car models

I added golf7 key to audi a3. All worked, immo and remote. So I think only difference is keyless or not keyless.

you have added 8V0 837 220 D key to golf 7 and remote worked?

sorry, what tools are you using to do spare keys? vvdi or avdi ?

No I added 5G0959753 BA to audi a3 8V. Remote worked, which I was surprised:)
