can't change parameters on cat ecm

I bought blank adem 3 ecm to replace ecm on my machine. i flashed the correct file to machine. everything works fine on the machine except it shows zero hours on the machine. how can i put the correct hours back? i went to current totals menu and under total time the button to change is greyed out. and under idle time i can click on change input hours put the factory password passes the password, and gives me error that time i entered is invalid and that ecm has reverted the hours back to zero.

You will have to o~~~~~y the ecm replacement file to import previous totals.

What do you mean o~~~~~y? After I flashed the file I did import the old ecm config file to bring over the settings. But it’s still zero
