Hi all,
Ive just took the plunge and got a cuberevo hd. the problem is i cant get the network to work. I have plugged it into the router set to auto (dchp) [pressed submit and nothing.
Im thinking theres anissue witht he hardware because the router doesnt see it either.

Has any 1 else had issues setting the network up.
Thanks

There should be a box in communication set up which says, enable network. Make sure that is ticked.

I cant seam to find that option. In the manual it says select auto dchp press select to have the settings show up. Ive tried everything but no luck.

Iguess im missing something but not sure what it is. Thanks

What image are you using

You need to change from DCHP to manual

Give your ipbox its own ip address -one thats not used by any other pc etc in your home

Use DCC program to see if its connected ok

Remember password is dreambox for E2 images & relook or sifteam for DGS iamges

go into box settings
advanced settings
change from DHCP to STATIC IP address
put in an IP address within range of you Router IP address
example
router 192.168.0.1
ipbox 192.168.0.3

Thanks To everyone for their input. It seems the unit is faulty. I've took the cover off and found the 3 led lights are not coming on hence it doesn't see the network cable. So I'm awaiting a replacement figures cross.:vollkommenauf:
