2015 Nissan Rogue, need help cloning ECU,
because of bad IPDM i thought it was bad ecu, while opening it damaged little resistors on the edges,
replaced ipdm, car starts on original ecu but has extra dtc codes because of the damaged resistors,
so i got new ecu but on the new one car doesnt start, need to clone it form the old ecu

What ECU are you working with? On most nissan only need to adapt module.

engine ECU.
I'll check the part number tonight or tomorrow

I tried using vin change function and save - copy ecu functions with Autel maxisys but getting:
"sequence reject / conditions not met. Error 22"

New used or New from dealer? no scanner will let you change vin on a used ecu on these.
New ecu supposedly come blank and need to be flash with software.

new used from donor car, not from dealer

Can you read the org full bdm?

vin on these is stored in eeprom I actually have one in as well to do.

I usually use Autel to adapt ecu in nissan nats function.. just select from menu replace ecm used and enter pin code. If that does not work try FVDI and worst case swap eeprom...

It seemed like it read ok, didn't throw an error,
in Autel Maxisys in ECU menu

This one looks like it has MCU, hmm, you know what type of eeprom ?

Ok, will try. Don't have FVDI, just Autel and eeprom UPA-usb programmer.
But, how do I get pin code ?

my friend open case up eeprom is next to mcu 8 leg. In this picture eeprom is removed already to make this job.

must be joking for fvdi with this car it is rolling code 20 pin need real tools to sync like AD

I've used FVDI for many nissans but I have alot of tools so I dont remember of the top of my head what functions each tool has... I was not joking I was just given him an option ( hence you can try as I stating).. But yeah just like Driiven said just swap eeprom... I did not list that as an option because not everybody can swap eeproms properly... I was just trying to help... So no need to bash me like I'm an idiot or something.!!

Vin is in the eeprom but swapping it will do no good (other location too).. no tool that I know of can clone these ecu 100%.. most it will do is write just the calibration part and one guy already tried that and it didn't work out well for him at all.

I’m good with soldering desolder in eeprom , did this few times on dash clusters and srs units.
but not good with programming or knowing where to start like in this case

Most important just need to have car start on “new” ECU and so no fault codes show.
Because on old ecu when I was opening it I cut off few resistors by accident, now battery light shows up on dash always.

Tried doing thru NATS menu but it's asking me for PIN, at this place there's no internet to do pin.
Can anyone give pin.
VIN # is 5N1AT2MV5EC851631
Ecu: Hitachi K3 757285 - 725 nec008-669

Found the BCM module.
Is this the sticker I need to generate PIN code ?
Which code is date code and which is encryption pin code ?

When I select "enter manual pin", it gives me 20-digit pre-pin, but how can I get the second pin ?

actually I dont think pin even will help me here.
I was doing more reading, looks like only new ECM can be reprogrammed, even if I had new one i dont have tools to reprogram it.
I only have eeprom programmer UPA-USB and Autel MaxiSys
is there a memory eeprom that can be swapped form old to replacement ecu ?

I looked for a programmer like ktag, only some MEC versions are supported.
Could not find any NEC008-669 support.
You would need a full bdm read, to clone.
Better look for a dealer solutions, or try to repair old ecu.

nevermind about eeprom swap, just read the previous posts again, FxShaw said before that eeprom swap will do no good.
so will try repairing old ECU somehow

going with plan B.
will try to fix the original ECU.
on the original ECU there was one capacitor missing, and about 4 small devices like diodes capacitors and resistors, so I took those exact same ones from the replacement ECU and soldered into original one, checked with multimeter for conenctions.
pretty sure i got all the parts correctly, except there was one place with 4 very tiny resistors or diodes one of them was the one that I had to take off from replacement ecu, usualy diode bridges are in 4 diodes like that, but these were too tiny to be diodes, so that Im not entirely sure about.
but still same 4 codes and battery light and Check Engine light are on and cant get erased.
DTC codes are:
U1000: CAN comm circuit
U1044: ENG comm circuit
U1040: ENG comm circuit
U1051: LIN communication

I may be to late to help you here but the reason you could not change VIN is because you need to program keys from bcm to the ecm first. Then you can change vin.
Assuming your ecu is exact part# match you simply put in replacement ecu> go to bcm and do the steps for replacement ecu. (acts the same as programming keys)>change vin in ecm. Job done. Autel will do this job.

i have sucessfully cloned the 2014 Nissan rough ecm with ktag protocol 1382.as i get a virgin ecm in the future would load the file here.
