Hi does anyone know of anything that can be purchased to power up clusters on the bench or is it normally a diy job.

Do you mean what power supply or ready made plugs? Any regulated 12v or adjustable power supply will do the job, even a 12v power adapter from an old device will do if it will provide enough current...maybe 2 amps or so.

If you only have a couple of different clusters you want to power up you can buy the connectors or find them at a scrap/junk yard. Wire up the positive and negative cables and put ignition to power through switch.
If you dont know the clusters you will do then a break out lead such as the one codecard sells c1 are good or a collection of different sized connectors on short leads to one common connector such as 4mm banana lead then make what you wish based on wiring diagram each time.

I thought there might have been something available to purchase with multiple plugs on it for different cluster brands.
