Hello everyone, I need another opinion because I'm getting crazy around here...

So basically, I've received a EDC17CP02 ECU from a 5-series, 20d, with 177bhp for a remap because (long short story) the owner blown the turbo and get a new one. Also made a few modifications like EGR blanked out and DPF off physically.
And during the time he gave the ECU to me, I've made the remap.
Since this one had the software with TPROT, I opened it and read in boot mode with Kess V2.

First I've made a "Backup Read", then read the file (yes, I've read it again), modded with a Stage 1 file (already worked on another BMW of 177bhp) and then wrote back to the ECU.
All of the processes went OK, no errors, no lights coming on and off from Kess, 13.2v in the power station, anything. Successfully read and write.

After that, I've sent the ECU to the owner and after he received all the parts and install them, he installs the ECU and the car starts and after 5 seconds (more or less, it's random... sometimes it's 4s, sometimes it's 7s).
What have I think? Checksums. OK, ECU opened it again, read the remapped file from the ECU and checked it with WinOLS the see if the checksums were alright. They were... All OK.

Gave it another try, and the owner said the car behaves the same.
Last option, was to write the Backup read that I've made from the first time and give it another try... The same result.

I think he have another problem there because, even with the Backup read successful wrote in the ECU, the car still starts and stalls after a few seconds.

Finally, I've attached a diagnostics machine and, for my surprise, it doesn't show any errors...
I have communication with the ECU though OBD and never had an error while reading or writing the ECU so I can assume that all the electronics related to the ECU is ok...

One last note regarding the car start / stalls: when the car starts, it starts fine and I know when he will stall because I ear some tictic and then the rpm starts to go down.

This is what I think:
1. Since he blown the turbo, a huge amount of oil went to the intake (in fact, there was indeed a lot of oil) and for that reason he might have a sticky valve that don't open or close like it should...
2. Since he blanked out the EGR and made the suppressor for the DPF, he did something wrong?
3. I've ~~~~ed up the ECU? But if it's indeed ~~~~ed up, why the car starts and responds to the accelarator? If it's ~~~~ed up, the car wouldn't start at all and all the dash lights would come up...

Sorry for the long text, but I think I needed to explain in detail...
Anyway, I want to ear your thoughts. What do you guys think?

Thanks!

Thank you for the reply mate,

If the ECU is indeed ~~~~ed why the car respond to the accelerator pedal and then shuts down? :-\
No error on the dash...

Is there any logical reason to change the ECU?

Hello guys,

I've attached the Original and the Backup Read file to the first post.

Any more thoughts?

Look in live data. The answer will be there. What is dropping out? Is it fuel, air or electric. Something is missing.

Thanks, I’ll give it a go.
But the last time I was there, there wasn’t any errors on the diagnostics.
But haven’t selected the live data option.
