bmw e70 x5 km correction

I need to adjust the number of kilometers to 125,000, and have paid CAS and instrument data.

Excuse me, just for curiosity, this bmw does not have km stored also in keys?

If so, what will happen when key is inserted in ignition?

To my knowledge the keys will update their value after roughly 40km driving. Just need to drive the car on each key for it to update.

Always thought if keys have greater value stored they update value of lower stored value units to the highest.

I would say there are modules that hold greater priority over others. In case of beemers Dash is King followed by the CAS as they both store active mileages. All the rest will take values from them or won't change at all in which case you need another tool to reset kilometres in those.
