Some questions ....
What cdr500 is it ... a Delco or a VDO ?
In what car should it go;
If its in another Opel you can change the display configuration with startup+buttons 4+6 or 3+5.
Keep pushing and check your display for digit8-digit10.
If it?s right release.
If it?s for another car ... forget it !

Correct mate .... Except If you check the pickie ..the poster wants to connect up the Radio to a Display .....Pressumably to test it on the bench ...:dontknow:

i would be inclined to go with a chainsaw to a scrap yard, and carefully rip the shit ouuta another car, and take that radio and that display for good meausre.

If you try to mix and match and old/new type plug you will get 'code' you enter the code, it then work and you will end up with just the code on the display, no station name.

i would this connection because i remove the mcu TMS for find the code via NYO4, i find it , and i would test if it is working!! i don't have a car!!!
