That is his dash dump, and the popular insignia repair scheme will not work on this version. You can tell the differences by the position of the VIN.

Need to find a good working dump and edit the VIN.

Can you share the solution to help others in the future?

Like post the repaired dump?

As above. I've got 2 sets of clocks in with the same issues, solution for vin in other place would be good.

File attached. Vin inside file is correct W0LGT8EN8F1064555

Posting the bad files would be good, along with the VINs

Last one I repaired it corrupted the first 8 lines or so, copying the 8 lines from a good file and editing the VIN fixed it.

In the case above, the first lines appeared to be OK, and since he is a selfish bassad he did not share the solution.

Amended my previous post and added one of the files. I've had a quick look to find a file where the vin starts in the same place to do exactly what you said earlier on.... Will have another look tomorrow

I can't see any obvious corruption in that file, but here is a repaired file that worked if you want to do a little more research.

Thanks clusters, I've just quickly layed the file on to one of the clusters and mileage now fine... So now I figure it out line by line..

The other cluster I've not pulled the eprom from yet, I will do that and then try to reset / reprogram by mdi and see the changes made...

@clusters to get me out of a immediate issue, do you know where the switch is in the file to change languages? The clocks I have are in Polish and its not a settable item within the menus on the clocks, or vauxcom, gds2 or such.. So need to find a polish VIN to sps the clocks to..

Well thats a bust, need the security code for the ipc.

found out which ONE byte was killing my mileage on this one... and the switch to change from English to Polish, took me approx 24hrs all in hour messing around since late last night but should be easier for next time!

The byte which killed the mileage for me was at line

A8 - 0x01

changed it to

0x00 to restore mileage correctly
