Hello friends,

My question is; how can i become a tuner? There are WinOLS courses but is that enough to get started as a chip tuner right away? or are the WinOLS courses for "basic" learning... I work as IT System Engineer for a couple of years and i'm very interested in car electronics. My friend owns a car repair shop and is specialized in electronics and retrofitting for mostly VAG group. We bought Kess V2, AutoTuner Slave and next week we will buy CmdFlash.

We pay a tuner for the tuning file service now. I understand the basic theory of engine ecu tuning.

Thanks for the advice and ideas

If you want a be a good tuner, please dont write any files from databases here on forum. Download this databases for original files.

Put a files from your chiptuner in winols and look where are changes made.

I think you must learn to many informations how a car works, for doing any changes in maps.

Neverending learning story.
