2012 citroen DS5 proxy go key program

hi all i have a customer with AKL on this car,

i have searched DK and found some years ago people saying only transponder can be programmed by most machines,

i also see on IQ for mvp pro it says X against the remote meaning it wont code?


being a proxy key obviously remote and proxy must work for my customer, any advice?

i have lonsdor k518, MVP pro, hoping one can do it?

There was a video on YouTube with lonsdor programming a Peugeot 508 2012 if i remember.
Probably can do akl as well.

508 is something different, no problem at all. For DS5 to make proxy work, apparently you need dealer tool but some people managed to program proxy remote manually but only for particular models of DS5. Please read AD forum, you can find info about that.

Yes lonsdor has it listed, im just worried because keys are £60 and if it locks but doesnt work the remote/proxy,, i cannot use again and customer wont accept :(

But even if proxy won't work, I think you can reprogram them with other tool like Lexia/Diagbox and everything will work. Lexia work for sure because on AD forum someone tried. It's very cheap and worth to have. Maybe you have Diagbox? If yes, then read PIN code with Lonsdor and program with Diagbox and take cash :D

Also i wonder if you know does it have VA2 or VA6 lock? for decoding to make emergency blades

As far as I know all DS use VA6 lock.

You could try this procedure from IQ

Remote coded during the key programming procedure but must be synchronised as follows:
Ignition OFF
Remove key from key reader
Close all doors
Insert remote key into the key reader
Ignition ON
Ignition OFF
Remove remote key from key reader
Immediately press and hold any button on the remote control for at least five seconds
Repeat the procedure for all remote keys to be synchronised.
You MUST (re)program the original working remote control key (if you have any) first.
