This car has problems with reading onboard, carefully remove eprom with hot air and read again, problem solved.

Good luck

i normally do it using diagnostic :) but removin eeprom is always better on them rather than in-circuit

Hello,

...."Are you serious? What year Megane? Jeager cluster? Johnson? "...

Yes, it is a Jeager cluster, but i forget TachoUniversal januar2008 and interface 908 dont let me change the milage or desoldering the eeprom, say syncronise.

You don't need program the eprom but the processor, you have to solder some wires. Don't you have a manual?
What year Megane and cluster?

Hi everybody,

I have Tacho Universal (China) and I found out that the adapters are very low quality. Once I had to repair one adapter because there was no connection to the pins in and out. The schematics of the adapters are posted on this forum somewhere for download, just search.
Hope it helps.

Hi,

the manual say to desolder 2 pins on the micro (the 2th and the 5th on the side) and solder the wires to this pins, correct? i make this.
then short the cristal!
then say to disconect the resistence or condensator!?

where pute this cable?

What tool? As for as I know not one Toyota can be done by diagnostic. (Enigma, Diga, DP3, Abritus commander, Data Specialist Plus, ......) All direct, cluster removal. You are a genius

If i am correct, you are dr peter from odometer correction forums aswell? you also had you r own forum? you my friend with alot of knowledge must be able 2 do it? i use Tacho Universal , but same adapter can be used for DP3

but i can assure you i do avensis diagnostic, me and a friend (electronic engineer) worked for weeks to make the solution, he has schematics, i dnt hav a clue bout capacitors n resistors and pcbs or else i wud explain 2 u better

You are right but I only spent time on engineering when necessary. Maybe you want to share your knowledge with us? I am pretty good with capacitors, resistors and integrated circuits, so I am curious.

Thanks for your Info.

Peter
