Hello to all,
I have some issues with my 2006 Peugeot 407 BSI-S02-00 (HW: 9662463380, SW: S120104700N). I bought a used one with exactly the same HW and SW numbers and now I want to clone it. I ordered a cheap USB SPI eprom programmer, but it hasn't arrived yet so I don't have the dump to post here. I did some research on how to replace the BSI and please correct me if I got it wrong:
1. make a backup of both BSI eeproms (I think it's a ST95128)
2. write the old dump to the new (used) BSI
3. try to start the car and test all the functions
if that won't work then I'm gonna need some help from you guys, because I don't have the software to virginise the BSI
I'm just looking for some guidance while I'm impatiently waiting for the mail man to arrive with the SPI programmer :)

Yes it will be the first time for me trying to clone a PSA BSI. I hope this will solve my problems with the car. It's displaying random errors (MIL is on), both of the temp gauges are dead, etc..

Probably not a good news, cloning just a eeprom is rarely successful. You will also need to clone main program in MCU too.

Can someone please check if I've read the M95128 from BSI correctly?

The dump is not from the BSI currently in the car, it's from the new (used) BSI that I bought. I don't want to mess with the BSI in the car until I'm 100% sure that I can clone the eeprom and not ruin anything...

if you got identically donor BSI (all numbers same) writing old eprom to donor BSI should work witohot problems for cloning

I'm trying to do just that, but first I'd like to know if my 4-dollar programmer can even read it properly. That's why I posted the dump.

I managed to read the VIN and PIN with ImmoServiceTool, so I'm guessing the dump is fine.
VIN: VF36ERHRH21474342
PIN: R77W
I'll clone the 95128 today and see what happens...

The cheap USB CH314A SPI programmer worked like a charm. I cloned the m95128 and the car works fine.
