1.8t 20V launch control

Hi i read 1.8t 20v engines need forged rods as you can bend them or worse with launch control ? same this for leon cupra r 1.8t 165kw?

I think its imnposible bend rods with any software change.... If you want bending rods put water to inlet (runing motor)...


If this motor have bended rod i think its from bad cylinder gasket (water coming to cylinder and somebody try to start)


Every rods today are forged... Crankshafts tooo.
