Ford focus 2009 proxy key will not turn

I have a customer on the phone said changed battery on proxy key banana shape I'd 63 now the ignition emergency key will not
start once inserted with two programmed keys all was working before there was a main battery changed 2 weeks before I have only spoke to customer on phone none of the
Two keys inserted in ignition
Switch no lights on dash any help before will attend I have
Ford true code to reprogram keys if needed thank you.

Best to do a diagnostic run first.

What are they trying to turn?
The ignition isn't supposed to turn on that model!
Put the manual key in the ignition and press the start button!

might be wrong

1) check in trunk “spare tire” just above proxy sensor is it wet?
2) not sure, but open trunk passenger side, earth for trunk lid
Earths module, gone bad, think yours mark iii ?

Key plus the spare non proxy blade key.The spare non-proxy key blade has no transponder in it.
It's only supposed to be used for the bonnet lock.

Key this is the banana shape key not the
Pear shaped new key which has not transponder I have the key in my toolbox

Proxy seem as Kuga first gen, key blade with iD63 inside. Start/Stop button.

Even prox and remote stop working, you still could start engine with key blade

yes this is the key the vehicle wont turn on the custumer tried with spare key and key in remote the customer spoke to me trough video no dash

programmed this key with truecode ford ftc5 as just got software and not tried it yet on this car .

And read it Id 63 part number 3M5T-15K601-DBOf course there is a transponder chip in the emergency blade, that's not what you said.
This model comes with 2 proximity remotes containing 2 x emergency blades with tranponders and 1 x manual grey key which does not contain a transponder chip.

customer has not phoned me back will update when i see the car if i get the job .

deffo has transponder and emergency key will start car if programmed
also check if customers battery is flat........................amount of times been out to cars where customer says key does not start and turns out car battery flat as a pancake

hence probably reason his remote stopped working as this the first thing fords do is cut the remotes side off to reserve power

With 2 transponders keys with only 1 proxy remote .

Kuga accepts 1 remote and 2 emergency keys. So I th8nk that focus also should run in this way.
