Renault Trafic 2010
Owner lost remote, 3 button.
Ne72 blade.


I come a cross Pcf7946 and pcf7947.
Sinces the org remote is gone, how do i determine what remote i need.
Uch type?


The blade, ne73 is without hole in the tip of the blade.
Does that tell us something.

Use pcf7946.

Same as Kangoo, Clio 2 PH2, Master, Movano. All use PCF7946 with precode data above.

Chinese remote key pcb with 2 buttons, you can solder the 3th to be 3.

Would anyone check my precoding on the pcf7946,

7946 is correct, 7947 seem to be clio 3. I'll check tomorrow for 7947.

I just finnished the job.

The car had 1 original remote, 3 button pcf7946.


I tried to ad the new pcf79476 remote.
Reading key Failed.
Programming failed, wrong transponder data.
(key remained unlocked)


Then i used the new remote, with pcf7947.
Worked fine.


Know, i wonder what part of the precoding i missed.
This pcf7946 should work on this car.

often issues with china renault keys: transponder data failed, but problem is at another place. antena maybe i don't know, never tried fix this chinese shit. if have problem during programming what will be next at this sensitive car?
