2009 citroen relay - cannot connect with MVP pro or lonsdor?

i have a customer with Citroen Relay 2 facelift 2009 - flip remote key marelli BSI type (same key as Fiat 500L, peugeot boxer)

today i tried lonsdor, under 500L, no communication

So pulled out MVP PRO, confident it can do the job, under Citroen, 2008-2011 i think its listed, no comms either when clicking on immobiliser.
also tried 2011-2016 under MVP pro, just to chance it, same no comms.

i also tried Fiat 500L on mvp pro, as i know it uses same BSI, nothing, does not connect.


OBD port is working fine, has power. Has anyone come across this issue before? are they touch and go for making keys with?

there is a passage of the obd connector, to lexia, proxia, diagbox, (fiat mixed up with citroen peugeot

i have Diagbox 7.83,, but how could i PRECODE the remote?
