SMOK - Volvo V70 Dash - Dead after flash

I need help!

I try to flash an V70 Dasboard (2010) with smok. ( I made full dump before) , and after is is DEAD.

The Dash not turn on, just 2 light blinks.

And the smok unable to flash, always : INIT ERROR... show up.


Is it possible to reapir somehow?

Than You !Post the backup. You can also flash direct with a programmer.

probably stupid question, but just to be sure: Did you disconnect battery for few minutes?
Dash many times black for Volvo after write

look for standard BDM port points(6 pins),if you can’t find it or there is no BDM port,connect directly to MCU legs 4 wires 5v/gnd/reset/bkgd,upa or smok jtag can handle this mcu programming,in the first post you said you have full dump backup,just write back that dump,it should be ok

Have exacly the same cluster in my s80 2010y.

I broke flash as well so iwake up using Xprog 5.5.1 or Orange 5.

Probably smok dont want init because you boot data in chip is broken.

I wake up cluster using xprog with additional adapter 9s12 and used 6 wires (5v. Gnd, reset, bkgd, and xilink cable twist together with gnd) with disconected quartz from pcb.

Yes dont need Desolder MCU, you can read MCU without take of.
You can inwestment but you need know something about XPROG and ORANGE 5.

I like Orange 5....
example Orange wake up MCU as well using just 4 wires, Xprog using as well 4 wires when boot sector is correct but when, was BOOT Sector broken than you need use SECURED option in XPROG than you need use ADAPTER 9S12.... and 6 wires and desolder quartz... so is little more job, so much easier is using ORANGE 5.

What is diffrence.. XPROG READ this FLASH MCU FASH 2MB file, ORANGE 5 read 384kb..... and a lots DUMPs on forum not just for this cluster is this small files(is sometimes hard find bigger weight dump to Xprog).

but but but...... ORANGE 5 clone is MORE FIRNDLY but is one problem..... don`t support SECURED CHIP.... XPROG SUPPORT, Orange 5 clone is just one version which work with 1.34 software.. XPROG you have 5.5.1 , 5.5.5, 5.60, 5.70, 5.70. 5.8x and Higher but to read this MCU is enought 5.5.1

SO you need decidated wchich is Better for you, Orange is more Freiendly, easy to use, Xprog support Secured Chip.

In my opionion... if CASH is not problem for you better BUY ORYGINAL VVDI PROG 4.81 cost is like 350-470 Pounds (350 from China and need wait 3-4 Weeks, 470 From UK, so delivery is within 2-3 Days) , when Xprog 5.5.5 arround 50 Pounds From China, Xprog 5.84 170 Pounds from china, Orange 5 Clone 110 pounds from china)

Vvdi is realy good. Read many Mercedes ezs, eis , no one dead after read write.
