If Airbag crash data is cleared by using eeprom dumps or third party tools that connect directly the airbag module, even though the airbag light or dtc codes no longer appear after it's been cleared, how do you that the airbag will deploy in an accident?

Hi
They are two ways;
A wrong way !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And good way.
On " Good way " who clean, must have all knowledge of what he do, clear Crash data and DTC from dump file, and like that, it will deploy in a accident for sure.

How is that possible when people post there dumps here & recieve a so called "Cleared dump" without knowing how it was cleared.Most dumps are cleared by tools that no one really knows how they work.I would never clear a dump using these kind of tools on the risk of the airbag not deploying
